Integrate text information (IT)

In this interactive lesson, students join Leafel to help with a report on reptiles. The lesson starts with a hook activity and introduction of objectives. Students then read articles about dinosaurs, circling relevant details as they go along. After each article, they review the facts gathered and learn how to integrate these details into their knowledge base. A scavenger hunt serves as an energizer before students engage in activities involving snakes and ancient swimming reptiles. The session ends with a summary, exit slip, Google Form assessment, and optional further practice.
