Main idea and summarizing (IT) - Part 1

In this engaging 'Detective Skills' lesson, students will learn to summarize and identify the main idea of a text. Students then participate in an energizer activity (if time permits) before moving on to independent practice where they play a detective game to find the main idea and summarize stories.
