Making connections (IT)

In this engaging lesson, students are introduced to the concept of making connections within texts to enhance their reading comprehension. The lesson starts with an introductory activity, followed by a story reading session with probing questions. Students then participate in interactive activities such as 'Find the Connection,' 'Spot the Difference!,' and 'Match It if You Can.' For independent practice, they engage in an activity called 'How to Plant a Seed.' The session concludes with a summary and an exit slip for assessment. If time allows, additional activities are provided for further practice.
