In 'Beach Ad-ven-ture', students embark on an interactive journey of learning how to count syllables. The lesson begins with a warm-up exercise where students count the syllables in words using the clap method. They then move onto tasks that involve counting syllables in beach-related words, blending partial words to form complete ones, and breaking down words into their constituent syllables. The session concludes with a summary and an exit slip to assess understanding. If time permits, additional practice activities are provided for further reinforcement of concepts learned.
