Introducing Addition

In this exciting math lesson, students will be introduced to the concept of addition through engaging activities. They will learn that addition means putting things together and use number bonds to complete addition sentences. Through guided questions and prompts, students will gain a deep understanding of the concept and develop their problem-solving skills. The lesson is divided into four tasks: Introducing 'AND,' Completing Number Bonds, Making Our Own Number Bonds, and Making a Story.
