Learn and Apply Tenths (Fraction with Denominator 10)
- Grade 4 MathTenths are special fractions with denominator 10. Working with tenths sets up the foundation for decimal numbers. Each decimal number has a fractional representation with denominator as a power of 10 (10, 100, 1000 etc.). Decimals with 1 digit after the decimal point can be represented as a tenth (fraction with denominator 10). For example, the numbers 0.6 is the same as the fraction 6/10.
